Hi, I’m Julia

I am the owner of Primp & Paws and the definition of a Dog Person.
When I was little, forget barbies... All I wanted was Littlest Pet Shop (Funny enough my first set was the dog bath set!). When I got older I got a dog breed encyclopedia and memorized it front to back.

Then as a teen I got my dream first job working at an amazing boarding kennel. I worked in multiple Boarding Kennels over the years and then transitioned to grooming and managing a grooming salon. In between working with dogs I finished University and a post grad certificate and started a little Photography business as well!

I am married to a pretty awesome man and a proud  parent to 3 pretty wonderful kids (can we call preteens and teens kids still?) plus 2 little Shih Poos, Milo and Gus.

I am excited to meet each and everyone of you and your pups. Primp & Paws is a dream made reality and I look forward to giving your pets the best possible care and lots of love and cuddles at the salon!

Danielle

Bather and Puppy Whisperer

Hello!

My name is Danielle. I am a young woman in her mid-30’s and I live right here in Georgetown. I have a beautiful dog, a Chinook named Nala, who is to me - perfect in every way. Another pooch I have the privilege to get to share my daily life with is my moms dog, a little Yorkie named Brody who is just full of personality. The animals I have in my life are not limited to my dogs however - I also have two horses, two senior cats, and a rescued Guinea Pig. I am a part time Farrier as well. If you don’t know what that is - I basically trim horses' hooves and put shoes on them.

I like to spend my free time riding my horses, hiking, and camping. I am a big fan of the outdoors and try to spend as much time outside as I can. When I'm not outside, I love to write and I have published one novel already.

You can say that I absolutely love all animals, but I especially love horses and dogs. I started at Primp and Paws in 2025 and the best part is - each day is always filled with wonderful dogs! I can't picture a better way to spend my work day.  I look forward to meeting you and working with your dogs.
